Once the page is loaded, look for the tools section on the page. You can easily spot this option on the left side of the page underneath the logo of Wikipedia.

Step 6:
You’re now free to copy the citation and paste it wherever your work needs to be cited. When you cite a Wikipedia article using the tools offered by the platform, it displays Wikipedia contributors at the beginning as the author.
There’s no hard and fast rule about this bit of the MLA citation. So, it’s your wish if you want to keep this part or get rid of it, as MLA’s rules permit both options.

- Look for the wiki page title and place it in quotes.
- Add the publisher’s name in italics. Since this is published on Wikipedia, the publisher is Wikipedia.
- Don’t forget to include the page’s date, located at the bottom of the page.
- Put in the URL of the page, and you’re done.
How to cite Wikipedia in APA Style?
- Put in the title of the Wikipedia page. Make sure to add a period after that.
- Next up is adding the publication date. If you don’t have a publication date on the Wikipedia page, just add (n.d.).
- Mention the retrieval date along with the URL and the website’s name. This informs the reader on where they can find the information.
How to cite Wikipedia in Chicago Style?
- Choose the format that you want to utilize. Once you’ve chosen, you can begin citing the Wikipedia page. In this style, you can start with the website rather than the title or vice versa; the choice is yours. Keep in mind that you need to place the title in quotes and italicize the website’s name.
- Once you’ve done that, you can add the revision date, which is located at the bottom of the page.
- Lastly, mention the website’s URL, and you’re good to go.
